Rump Recordings
Copenhagen label founded in 2003, releasing uncompromising electronic and electro-acoustic music.
Rump Recordings was founded in Copenhagen in 2003 by Jens Berents Christiansen, with the stated aim of releasing uncompromising electronic and electro-acoustic music.
The label deliberately avoids settling on a single genre, preferring the un-categorizable ground that opens up when artists push at the edges of what they already know how to do. Rumpistol, Kalaha, Acustic, Bjørn Svin and Vektormusik have all released here, often blending electronic production with acoustic instrumentation.
